Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport seeks an Interventional Technologist/EP Specialist to support EP procedures, data management, and patient coordination. The role requires CT licensure and ARRT radiography credentials, with AED credentials welcomed.

Expect a Monday–Friday 10-hour shift, in a teaching hospital with career growth opportunities. You will assist physicians in EP studies, device interrogations, and patient education while upholding safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiology Technician credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified Heart Saver AED credentialed from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates all aspects of set up and development including EP lab equipment functionality and troubleshooting. Facilitates Tilt Table Testing.
• Assists physicians in instrumentation, pacing and recording activities during EP procedures and ensures proper data recording/storage.
• Performs device interrogation of inpatients and post-operative devices.
• Coordinates patient care between physicians and outpatient/inpatient services; schedules visits and procedures.
• Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias in EP settings, including ablations and device implants.
• Educates patients about procedures before/during/after.
• Mentors new staff and maintains a safe environment with regulatory compliance.
• Rotates through shift roles and supports professional development.
