Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking an EO Signal Image Processing Engineer to support the Launch Vehicles IPT. You will help develop and validate image processing models and algorithms for seeker simulations.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance (or eligibility) and hands-on experience with C/C++, MATLAB, and Python in HPC or lab settings. Collaboration with multiple engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in image or signal processing and implementing algorithms in C, C++, MATLAB, or Python.
• Understanding EO/IR modeling concepts and hardware-based model validation.
• Familiarity with HPC environments and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support physics-based EO/IR seeker models and simulations for performance analysis.
• Implement and test image/signal processing algorithms within simulation frameworks.
• Collaborate with systems, software, firmware, and hardware teams to perform M&S tasks and verification.
