Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our Thermal Test Engineering Labs. This hands-on role covers test design, setup, execution, data review and reporting.

You'll work with acoustics, airflow, temperature, and vibration tests, using LabVIEW controls and data acquisition to evaluate test performance and deliver clear reports. Qualifications include a BS in engineering and 3+ years for Level 3; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with engineering data acquisition and LabVIEW.
• Level 3: 3+ years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods.
• Develop procedures and instrumentation definitions needed to perform tests.
• Design hardware or software for components and sub-assemblies and use analytical tools to verify the design.
• Coordinate manufacture and assembly of test hardware.
• Identify solutions to basic problems and support metrology processes, methods, and tools.
• Support development of test debrief material and evaluate test performance data.
• Review test data for accuracy, quality and fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
• Alert senior engineers of off-nominal data and prepare test reports for review.
• Work under general supervision.
