The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and healing hospital environment through daily room cleaning, disinfection, and timely room turnover to support patient throughput and infection prevention.

As part of the EVS team at ORMC, you’ll operate in a 24/7 high-acuity setting, contributing to high-quality patient care and customer experience within a Level I Trauma Center

The department supports 24/7 hospital operations in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting, ensuring that every space reflects the highest standards of care.

Position Summary The Environmental Services Technician level I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, clean, healing environment. Responsible for ensuring daily room cleaning and timely room turnaround times related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The Environmental Services Technician, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and customer experience.
