Job summary

Clean Earth is seeking Environmental Technicians in the United States to join a professional team and learn environmental regulations and how hazardous materials are removed from the waste stream. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating a forklift, and handling documentation to meet customer policies and regulatory standards.

You will consolidate, treat, store, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste in a compliant manner, with physical activity and outdoor/indoor work conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for long periods.
• Visual acuity to read labels; depth perception for safe forklift operation.
• Willing to wear PPE including glasses, hard hat, boots, gloves, Tyvek, respirator.
• Able to work outdoors in all climates and indoors in non-climate-controlled settings.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and dispose of hazardous waste per regulations.
• Operate forklift and move containers to and from storage and treatment areas.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
