Job summary

St. Joseph's/Candler is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas within our Savannah facilities. You will collect and transport regular and regulated medical waste, and operate floor care equipment while following all safety and infection-control procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills are valued as you interact with patients, co-workers and visitors in a courteous, professional manner. GED preferred; no license is required.

Qualifications

• GED or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards for patient areas.
• Must be able to operate floor care equipment safely.
