Job summary

EnviroTrac LLC in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an Environmental Technician (Geoprobe/Equipment Operator) to join our Ohio team. This full-time role involves field work on environmental projects with opportunities for growth. Must be able to commute to Perrysburg or Cleveland offices.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate geoprobe and heavy equipment while following EnviroTrac/H&S standards. OSHA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate geoprobe, excavator, loader, and skid steer.
• Perform air, soil, and groundwater monitoring and sampling.
• Conduct environmental site assessments.
• Support spill response activities.
• Assist in UST closures.
• Complete field documentation, analysis, and surveying.
• Perform system operations and maintenance.

EnviroTrac LLC is seeking a Environmental Technician (Geoprobe/Equipment Operator)with 1–3 years of experience to join our Ohio team. This full-time role involves working in the field on a variety of environmental projects with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Operating a geoprobe, excavator, loader, and skid steer
• Performing air, soil, and groundwater monitoring/sampling
• Conducting environmental site assessments
• Supporting spill response activities
• Assisting in UST closures
• Completing field documentation, analysis, and surveying
• Performing system operations and maintenance tasks

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience operating a geoprobe and/or heavy equipment
• Strict adherence to EnviroTrac Health & Safety standards and company policies
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and compliance standards
• Ability tosupervise subcontractors during complex field activities

Capable of:

• Conducting monitoring well elevation surveying
• Creating scaled field maps
• Performing remedial system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Servicing pumps, blowers, and compressors
• Overseeing excavation and soil sampling activities
• Procuring necessary equipment and materials
• Physically able to climb ladders, stairs, and navigate varied terrain
• Valid Driver’s License required

Preferred Qualifications/Certifications:

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
• Current OSHA 8-hour Refresher
• Mechanically inclined and technically resourceful
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under tight deadlines
