Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Natural Resources, or a related field.
• Demonstrated passion for environmental protection and sustainability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the Southwest Region’s operations.
• Assist with environmental monitoring, sustainability reporting and planning, and reclamation projects.
• Support environmental engineers and land managers in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in site inspections, audits, and data collection related to air, water, and land resources.
• Contribute to sustainability efforts, including habitat restoration and community engagement.
• Learn about permitting processes, environmental reporting, and land stewardship practices.
• Promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
