Veolia in North America, the leading environmental services provider, is hiring for a position focused on remedial and disposal services for hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The role requires strict compliance with state and federal EH&S regulations and offers on-call emergency response duties.

Responsibilities include sampling waste streams, packaging, labeling, coordinating transportation, and maintaining safety and professional client interactions while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Valid driver's license with ability to obtain CDL (H endorsement) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in all atmospheric conditions.

• Comply and enforce all compliance, health, safety, and procedures in accordance with VES-TS policies.
• Become familiar with all U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT)/Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and VES-TS regulations required in submitting paper work to expedite disposal of hazardous waste.
• On Call Emergency Response (Including Nights & weekends)
• Confined Space Entry

Job Description

Position Purpose:

This position provides specialized remedial and disposal services to our clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to spill response, confined space entry, packaging, labeling, loading/unloading, transporting, and sampling/profiling of hazardous and non hazardous materials. All duties must be performed in strict compliance with applicable state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background:

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science discipline preferred

Additional Information

Hourly Pay Range:$23 to $25 per hour
