MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university AND a total of at least 30 semester hours or 40 quarter hours of undergraduate coursework in the natural sciences. Must provide official sealed transcripts.

• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Willing to physically come in the office daily and/or perform field work.
• Physically able to lift to 40 pounds, walk long distances, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Access to personal transportation in lieu of a county vehicle.
• Currently have a valid FL driver’s license OR a valid driver’s license from another state.
• Incumbent will need to obtain food protection and pool operator certifications within six months of hire.
• Willing to occasionally work outside of normal hours to do inspections.
• Willing to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
