Williams in Houston seeks an Environmental Specialist to apply expertise in air, water, and waste management to support regulatory compliance, risk management, permitting, and operational excellence.

You will develop policies, assess risks, prepare permits, lead projects, and mentor junior staff as you advance to higher levels. This role offers growth within a Fortune 500 energy company and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years environmental experience for Specialist II; 4+ years for Specialist III; 8+ years for Specialist IV.
• Preferred experience with environmental permitting, compliance auditing, and regulatory reporting.

Responsabilités

• Develop and guide environmental policies, processes, and compliance programs.
• Assess risks and support implementation of solutions, including regulatory documentation.
• Prepare permits, renewals, and variances, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Lead or support environmental projects, including planning, cost estimating, and reporting.
• Prepare compliance reports, inventories, and environmental plans.
• Provide technical guidance and training on regulations to personnel.
