Mercy Health – Urbana is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. You will perform routine housekeeping, patient room cleaning, waste handling and chemical safety per protocols.
The role requires attention to infection control, ability to follow schedules and participate in safety training; Ohio driver license preferred; CHEST certification preferred.
Responsible for all related housekeeping duties necessary within the Environmental Services Department scope of service and area of responsibility. Responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary environment. Reports maintenance related items for repair. Practices good safety and infection control habits.
