Job summary

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning and sanitation duties across the facility. This role ensures infection control standards are met and supports a hygienic environment for patient healing and safety.

As a team member, you will follow written and verbal instructions, handle manual tasks, and contribute to a compliant and compassionate hospital setting. This is a full-time day shift in Fort Smith, AR.

Qualifications

Prior Hospital Environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
