Androscoggin Valley Hospital (AVH) seeks an EVS Technician to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment. This float role covers multiple areas on evening and night shifts, following procedures and using approved chemicals.

Under general direction, you will be responsible for cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas, reporting to the Environmental Services Manager. Experience in healthcare EVS is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and understand written documents.
• Ability to read housekeeping schedules and follow directions.
• After training, work independently with little supervision.
• Prior EVS experience in a Healthcare Facility preferred.
• Strong inter-personal skills; valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

Job Summary

Under general direction, cleans all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors. Demonstrate ability to utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure. Reports to the Manager of Environmental Services.The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician is responsible for maintaining the Hospital environment in a clean and safe manner consistent with standards established by Administration in conjunction with the Infection Control and Safety Committees.

This position is a Float position and required to work in multiple areas on the evening and/or night shift.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is$17.34/hr - $21.68/hr - $23.41/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's applicable experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
