Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicates issues and suggests improvements to procedures and workflow.
• Completes daily, weekly and monthly tasks on time using the work order system.
• Operates and maintains floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, and auto scrubbers.
• Responds to service requests to support residents, staff or visitors.

Job Objective:

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout Mozaic Senior Life by cleaning and disinfecting resident and non-resident areas in accordance with infection control standards. Perform terminal cleaning, manage general waste disposal, and ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping supplies and equipment. Support facility safety initiatives by maintaining orderly and hazard-free environments. Operate auto-scrubbing equipment and complete weekly floor care maintenance to uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance standards across the facility.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Communicates issues, concerns and suggests ideas for improving procedures & work flow.
2. Completes daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on time, uses the work order systemeffectively, and consistently maintains high-quality standards.

1. Operates & maintains floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers and carpet extractors.
2. Responds to requests for services concerning special functions, moving items, cleaning or other needs required by residents, staff or visitors to create and maintain the high quality.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following: dusting, disinfecting surfaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing trash, infections waste, soiled linen, delivery of linen carts, replacement of supplies, cleaning of curtains, vents, washing walls and flat surfaces, windows, wheelchairs, cleaning equipment and shower rooms.

May cover the assignment of an Environmental Services Associate as needed. Other related duties as assigned.
