Covington County Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician responsible for cleaning and disinfecting multiple outpatient clinics. You will travel each evening to different clinic locations to maintain a sanitary environment, contributing to infection prevention and patient satisfaction.

This full-time role offers benefits and requires a valid Mississippi driver license with no active restrictions. Experience in environmental services is preferred.

Formación

• Must have current Mississippi Driver License with no active restrictions or violations.
• Experience preferred in healthcare sanitation or environmental services.

Responsabilidades

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Sweep, mop, and maintain all hard-surface flooring
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms, waiting areas, nursing stations, offices and breakrooms
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, countertops, and touchpoints
• Spot clean walls, doors, windows, and glass surfaces as needed
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
• Restock toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and other supplies
• Other duties as assigned

The Environmental Services technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within assigned outpatient clinics. This position requires traveling between clinic locations each evening to perform routine cleaning and disinfection of patient, staff, and public areas. The EVS Technician plays a vital rale in infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
