Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring an Environmental Service Technician (EVS)/Housekeeping in Marlton, NJ. This full-time role from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM includes weekday and weekend shifts with compensation of $18.00 to $22.38 per hour plus shift differential.

As part of our inpatient rehabilitation hospital, you will help create a safe and welcoming environment by keeping patient areas clean and well maintained, supporting patient recovery and visitor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.
• Maintain quality/appearance of the physical plant; report repairs.
• Clean and polish metal trim, furnishings, and equipment.
• Wash walls, windows, and beds; strip/wax/buff floors with safety in mind.
• Move furniture as needed; replenish soap, towels, toilet tissue and supplies.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.38 / hourly (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

Housekeepers (Environmental Services Technicians) help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in our hospitals. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by keeping the halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.

• Assists in maintaining the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs on a daily basis or as needed.
• Keeps floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
• Cleans and polishes all metal trim, furnishing, and/or equipment as necessary, as well as washes walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
• Strips, waxes, and buffs floors as assigned using safety precautions to properly carry out the procedures.
• Assists in moving furniture as requested. Replenishes supplies, including soap, towels, and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Hospital EVS experience preferred.
