Job summary

Moravian Village Of Bethlehem is looking for a dedicated cleaner to perform general cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms and common areas. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

You will help maintain a clean and safe environment while interacting with residents, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include following infection control protocols and using approved cleaning chemicals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Salary Range: $14.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, apartments, and common spaces.
• Follow departmental cleaning procedures and use approved facility cleaning chemicals.
• Adhere to infection control and waste removal/disposal protocols.
• Assist with work assignments outside regular duties when required by work volume, emergencies, or severe weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (highly desirable).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow oral directions and demonstrate pleasant, tactful, courteous behavior.
• Comfortable working in well-lit areas and interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors who may be emotionally charged.
• Willingness to work outside during severe winter weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of infection control and exposure to bloodborne pathogens and cleaning solvents acceptable.
