Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a dedicated environmental services teammate to maintain the hospital’s cleanliness and infection-control standards across patient care areas, staff spaces, and common areas. The role involves performing basic and advanced cleaning techniques and managing supply stocking.

You will work on shifts across multiple campus areas including Surgery, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Emergency Room, and general floors, ensuring safe and welcoming environments for patients and staff.

This position is responsible for continuously demonstrating proficiency in both basic and more complex or advanced cleaning techniques and supply stocking that would be used in patient, staff, office, clinic, surgical or visitor areas. Able to demonstrate proficiency in ability to work in areas that require advanced cleaning techniques such as Surgery, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Emergency Room (on shifts/situations, campuses where caregivers work in multiple areas) and Floorcare.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Vocational training and certification will also be considered
• 1 year of experience in housekeeping or janitorial/custodial work in a healthcare/long term care setting or hotel setting is preferred

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
