Job summary

Boys Town in Omaha, NE seeks an Environmental Services Technician to clean and disinfect spaces including exam rooms, classrooms, gym, locker room, and cafeteria, following CMS and Joint Commission standards.

You will perform routine cleaning, report hazards, secure buildings at day end, handle chemicals with PPE, and complete required trainings to support a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

• Maintains an uncluttered environment; identifies and reports possible safety hazards.
• Secures buildings at the end of the day to ensure security and confinement (doors and windows).
• Spot cleans walls, washes windows as needed and removes waste and litter.
• Utilizes approved chemicals according to manufacturer directions with appropriate PPE.
• Reports safety concerns when identified; completes required training and competencies.
