Job summary

Harlan County Health System in Alma, Nebraska is hiring an Environmental Services Technician to join our team. You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, hallways and common areas, helping maintain a safe, welcoming hospital environment.

This full-time role is scheduled Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm with rotating holidays and weekend on-call. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience. HCHS is an equal opportunity employer.

• Ability to follow safety and infection-prevention procedures.
• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred.

• Remove waste and soiled linens; restock supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment as required.

Harlan County Health System is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our Environmental Services team in Alma, Nebraska.

The Environmental Services Technician helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment by cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Additional responsibilities include removing waste and soiled linens, restocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and following infection-prevention procedures.

Full Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00pm, Rotating Holiday and Weekend On Call

Starting pay: $17.00-19.00per hour, depending on experience
