Job summary

CHI Health Lakeside, located in West Omaha, seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain clean and sanitized patient rooms and hospital areas. You will perform routine cleaning, use specialized equipment, and follow biohazard disposal protocols to protect patients and staff.

You will also assist with supply refills, room turnover, and general facility upkeep, contributing to a safe and compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Clean and sanitize patient care areas daily.
• Adhere to infection prevention practices and PPE.
• Excellent attention to safety and cleanliness in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas.
• Follow health care cleaning, disinfection and infection prevention guidelines; use proper PPE.
• Assist with conference room setups, cleaning of stairs/elevators, and hanging cubicle curtains.
