Salinas Valley Health in Salinas, CA is seeking a Environmental Services/Housekeeping associate to help maintain a clean, sanitary, organized hospital environment for patients, staff and visitors.
The role covers cleaning, restocking, floor and carpet care, waste handling and reporting safety hazards. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Department: Environmental Services Work under the supervision of Environmental Services/Assistant Director/Supervisors. Performs a wide variety of highly demanding physical activities to assist in maintaining the hospital in a clean, sanitary, organized and attractive condition for patients, employees and visitors. Performs all other duties as assigned. Selects and obtains materials and supplies from designated area, stocks cart and reports to assigned areas.
The hourly rate for this position is $29.75 - $30.33. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
