Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking an Environmental Services Technician I to maintain a clean and safe environment that supports high-quality patient care. You will perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, sanitize surfaces, and follow department procedures and infection control standards.

The role requires adaptability and teamwork, participation in inservices and performance improvement activities, and willingness to contribute to the hospital's mission

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning of assigned areas (patient rooms, bathrooms, trash receptacles, high dusting, sanitizing and spot cleaning) according to department SOPs.
• Performs cleaning duties (including special cleaning) according to department SOPs.
• Adheres to general safety and infection control standards.
• Performs responsibilities in a timely, efficient, cost effective, confidential and professional manner.
• Participates in required inservices, performance improvement activities, and other educational programs.
