Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Environmental Services Tech I for the 2nd shift to maintain a clean, safe patient environment. You will interact with patients, visitors and staff while performing routine cleaning, waste disposal and room turnover according to infection control practices.

The role requires physical duties, adherence to hygiene standards, and a team-focused approach to support clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Lift and transport items up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and stretch safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform trash removal and waste disposal per procedures.

SummaryJob Description:Job Title: Environmental Services Tech I (EVS I)Full Time - 2nd shiftThe primary goal of Environmental Services is to provide a clean and safe environment for ourpatients, visitors, and staff.Job Description:The Environmental Service Technician I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff.
