GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Performs routine cleaning throughout units of Surgical Center

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Operating Room Manager

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Frequent standing and walking or other means pf mobility for extended periods of time. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds Requires exposure to germicidal agents and anesthesia gases.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: May be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• 1. Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms and corridors.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
