Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EST) for both full-time and part-time roles at our store location in Georgia. The EST will maintain a clean storefront environment through housekeeping duties, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.

The Full Time role works four 10-hour days in a row; the Part Time role covers the remaining three days, also ten hours each day. Training on buffers and floor scrubbers will be provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
• The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• The ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep stores clean – dust, mop, sweep, and polish.
• Train to use buffers and floor scrubbers.
• Handle trash and bathrooms as part of duties.
• Follow ISO regulations and company/state policies to stay safe and secure.
