Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain cleanliness, infection control, and the beautification of buildings and grounds. This role makes beds and handles trash and waste disposal while upholding the MHS Standards of Excellence and strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas and patient rooms, assisting with trash management, using equipment properly, and performing any other duties as necessary to support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent training/experience required.
• Ability to read, write and do math as demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas according to outline.
• Cleans patient rooms as directed.
• Assists with trash management as directed.
• Demonstrates proper use of equipment.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
