Do you have experience in Environmental Services, healthcare support, or facilities operations? Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to oversee daily operations and staff supporting hospital and clinic environments.

This role is responsible for coordinating environmental services, linen and laundry operations, and supply delivery activities while ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and properly maintained. The EVS Supervisor works closely with staff and other departments to maintain service standards, support infection control and safety requirements, and ensure daily operations run efficiently.

We are looking to identify qualified candidates who can meet with the current EVS Director to discuss their experience, leadership approach, and overall fit for the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily activities and staff within environmental services, linen and laundry, and supply delivery department
• Hire, train, supervise, coach, and counsel employees as appropriate
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas, facilities, equipment, and furnishings
• Identify unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or maintenance needs and submit work order requests as necessary
• Evaluate new products and equipment and recommend options based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and operational improvements
• Reinforce proper handling of biohazardous waste and confidential records, as applicable
• Gather, compile, and maintain information for routine and special reports

Description of Company:

You will be supporting a well-established medical center in Vallejo, California.

Experience Required:

• At least 2 years of experience in environmental services, healthcare delivery, clinic support, or related business processes
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or 4 years of directly related experience
• Valid driver's license from any state at the time of hire
• Knowledge of infection control, safety, and security regulations in a healthcare setting
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated decision-making, teamwork, and quality management abilities
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage competing needs, and focus on results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
