Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program in Ohio. You will learn to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility. The 12-week program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports, including web-based reporting.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.

• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
