Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. in Richmond, VA, is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training for a 12-week paid program to learn to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

The role offers a pay rate of USD 19.00–21.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. This position requires residency in the service area and compliance with vaccination policies; training is hands-on and computer-based.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Must have computer skills and ability to maintain records/reports (web-based).
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, communicating directives clearly.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

USD $19.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.

• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
