Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program at a long-term care facility. This 12-week paid program teaches you to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations with hands-on and computer-based training.

Learn to coordinate staff, ensure policy compliance, and communicate with facility leadership while gaining practical supervision experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.

• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
