Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn how to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

The 12-week program blends hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for leadership in healthcare environmental services. You will gain exposure to policies and federal/state requirements, participate in staff training, and act as a liaison between administrators and HCSG staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports (web-based reporting).
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies and federal/state requirements.

• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
