Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Manager in Training in Gulfport, MS to learn to manage your own account and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

This paid 12-week program includes hands-on and computer-based training to develop skills for managing environmental services in healthcare settings. You will learn policies, scheduling, reporting, and liaison duties, with opportunities for advancement upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.

This structured and paid 12‑week program will develop you to manage and oversee environmental services in a healthcare setting with hands‑on and computer based training.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
