Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for assisting in directing and overseeing the support services operational needs of the department. You will coordinate the tasks of the frontline associates and serve as a liaison between administration and unit departments, providing the highest possible level of service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for staff annually.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts inspections and makes recommendations.
• Prepares monthly reports on goals and plans.
• Provides staff education and ongoing training.
• Communicates effectively with staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinates outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, waste management, and recycling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high customer contact support service field.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a changing environment.
• Leadership, initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
