Autumn Village is seeking an Environmental Services Technician with Maintenance Responsibilities to keep resident areas clean, safe, and well-maintained in a senior living setting.

The role combines daily housekeeping with light maintenance, preventive tasks, and facility upkeep, requiring dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance cleanliness with on-site maintenance support.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, maintenance, or custodial services preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• General knowledge of basic maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other spaces according to standards.
• Perform routine floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing/buffing as assigned.
• Handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals safely per guidelines.
• Remove trash and biohazard waste per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify leadership when restocking is needed.
• Support infection control practices and safety protocols.
