Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health in New Jersey seeks a facilities associate to maintain clean, sanitary and aseptic areas across the hospital. You will scrub, mop, polish and use approved germicides, remove trash and perform high-dusting as directed by supervision.

The role includes restocking dispensers, cleaning offices and lounges, and contributing to a safe, healthy environment for patients and staff. Training is provided; full- and part-time options under a respected nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three to six months on-the-job training and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic using approved germicides and cleaners.
• Remove trash from containers.
• Perform high dusting, spot cleaning, bathroom cleaning, and restock all dispensers.
• Clean offices, utility rooms, lounges and other rooms as assigned by supervisor.
