Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Texas Driver License with good driving record.
• Texas Asbestos Abatement Supervisor License.
• Texas Mold Remediation Contractor License.
• Proven ability to manage a group of people.
• Extensive asbestos removal and mold remediation expertise.
• Ability to plan and budget projects.
• Knowledge of Texas asbestos and mold regulations for public schools.
• General computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day operations of Environmental Services Department.
• Coordinate asbestos abatement scheduling with Facility Design leadership.
• Maintain the department budget under director supervision.
• Provide cleaning per abatement schedules and mold remediation projects.
• Install and maintain asbestos/mold signage and notifications.
• Coordinate abatement projects with monitors, workers, and contractors.
• Remove asbestos in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Ensure safe operation of respiratory and safety equipment.
