Vitruvian Health is seeking an Environmental Services Floor Technician to help keep the hospital clean and safe. The role requires operating various floor care equipment and adhering to department policies while protecting patient confidentiality and delivering friendly service to patients and staff.
You will remove waste, disinfect rooms, restrooms, and public areas; stock supplies; maintain floors; and support the EVS team in meeting hospital objectives.

JOB SUMMARY The Environmental Services Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the facility in a clean, sanitary and safe condition; must be able to perform the assigned duties and functions in accordance with the standard policy and procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with the hospital objectives. The EVS attendant must maintain good public relations while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality and satisfaction and exhibit Community Cares standards.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Education / License / Certification: High school graduate or GED preferred Experience / Skills: Prior experience in healthcare or commercial housekeeping preferred Experience in operating all types of electric and battery-operated floor care equipment preferred
