Job summary

Aramark EVS Worker at Boulder Community Health in Boulder, Colorado seeks a part-time team member to clean and maintain patient areas and common spaces. You will follow infection control and safety procedures while providing courteous service.

Shifts are at Boulder Community Hospital with 16–29 hours weekly and multiple time slots, including day and overnight shifts to meet patient care needs. A reliable, adaptable teammate is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and sanitation preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making and waste removal.
• Cleans restrooms following infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards.
• Follows disposal procedures for trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders.
• Maintains friendly customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.

Job Description

The EVS Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Shifts Details:

All shifts will be worked at Boulder Community Hospital in Boulder, Colorado.

Part-time schedule hours can range from 16 to 29 hours per week.

Shift Times Available: (must have weekday and weekend working availability)

10:00am to 2:00pm

1:00pm to 5:00pm

7:00am to 3:30pm

3:00pm to 11:30pm

11:00pm to 7:30am

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $19.46 to $21.25 . If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient / resident rooms that may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste. Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
