Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to join the team at Boulder Community Health in Boulder, Colorado. The EVS Worker cleans and maintains patient areas, following strict infection control procedures and Aramark guidelines to ensure a safe, sanitary environment.

Shifts are at Boulder Community Hospital; 2nd Shift runs 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. The compensation range is $19.46 to $22.87 per hour, with standard benefits typical of Aramark accommodations.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA,state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal; cleans restrooms per infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers; adapts to customer needs.
• Secures the facility and ensures building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $19.46 to $22.87. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient / resident rooms that may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste. Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
