Job summary

Aramark is seeking a dedicated EVS Worker to maintain cleanliness across assigned areas, ensuring patient and client satisfaction. You will follow OSHA and client guidelines, perform routine cleaning, and handle waste disposal while maintaining equipment in good condition.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adaptability to meet client requirements. Physically able to lift and stand for long periods; on-site duties at various Aramark locations. Nearest markets include Dallas and Fort Worth.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms; vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal; cleans restrooms with infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards.
• Transports trash to designated areas and stores/disposes properly.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.
• Secures the facility and ensures assets are protected.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

The EVS Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient / resident rooms that may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste. Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
