Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements while driving quality and resident satisfaction.

You will train staff, manage schedules, monitor supplies and budgets, and act as liaison between building occupants and HCSG leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies and federal/state requirements.
• Perform and lead teams in light/heavy housekeeping and laundry aide duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Use protective gear, ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and safety precautions.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, staff, residents, and guests.

Pay Rate

USD $50,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.

• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Use protective gear appropriately; ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
