Healthcare Services Group is seeking an Environmental Services Department Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. This role ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality service to residents and staff.

The position emphasizes staff training, operational efficiency, and effective communication with Administrators and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of healthcare housekeeping and supervision experience preferred.
• Strong communication with building occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff while complying with policies and regulations.
• Lead light and heavy housekeeping and laundry duties across shifts.
• Train staff, ensure quality, and coordinate in-service sessions.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Serve as liaison between occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; convey directives.
• Ensure safety with proper PPE and handling of cleaning products.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively with clients, residents, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

USD $60,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Perform and lead teams in light housekeeping, heavy housekeeping, and laundry aide duties across varying shifts.
• Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; ensure timely completion of projects and programs.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment while using HCSG computer software.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Use protective gear appropriately; ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Additional Pay Information

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
