Job summary

Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial Operations Manager to lead frontline teams in Linden, NJ. This hands-on role focuses on safety, compliance, and delivering high-quality environmental services in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will manage daily operations, guide team development, and ensure excellent service while handling performance evaluations and staffing decisions. Union experience and Spanish proficiency are required.

• Related Experience: 2 years.
• Union experience required; bilingual Spanish proficiency is required.
• Experience cleaning large industrial spaces preferred.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $70000 - $80000
