St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Coordinator to plan and implement Environmental Services staff activities, monitor areas, and ensure cleaning quality aligned with the department mission. The role includes opening shifts, assigning aides, and maintaining hospital cleanliness to meet high standards.
The coordinator will train new staff, monitor daily functions, and respond to issues, ensuring timely discharges and transfers while supporting operations during staffing shortages.
The Coordinator will coordinate, plan and implement the scheduled work activities of the Environmental Services staff. Monitor assigned areas periodically throughout the work shift. Observe the quality and effectiveness of departmental employees; providing for the general cleaning of the hospitals environment in order to achieve quality results set forth in the Department Mission Statement.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred.
Three to six months of experience in housekeeping in either a hospital or institutional setting preferred.
