Job summary

Trinity Health operates Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA and is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate for the night shift. The role focuses on maintaining sanitary conditions to prevent infection and odors, using proper cleaning techniques and equipment, and completing assigned tasks across the environmental services area.

The Associate reports to the Manager Operations, Environmental Services and participates in rapid response to emergencies, spills, and other needs while

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
• Performs all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions.
• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
• Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
• The Floor Tech is required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.
