Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Environmental Service/Housekeeping team member to maintain clean, safe patient areas across our New Jersey facilities. You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, hallways, bathrooms and common areas, deliver linen, remove trash, and restock supplies to support a high standard of care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, reliability and a patient-centered approach.

• Consistently perform daily floor care procedure.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and polished - carts, tanks and buckets are emptied and rinsed at shift end.
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred

• Previous Environmental Service or Housekeeping experience
• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

Compensation

Minimum rate of $17.51 Hourly
