Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to perform cleaning and sanitization duties in patient and non-patient areas. You will follow infection control guidelines, operate floor machines and buffers, and ensure a neat, sanitary environment across the Medical Center.

Evening shift, weekends/holidays, 14 hours per week, onsite at 151 Everett Avenue. This role requires knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, with 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely.
• Working knowledge of cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in alignment with organizational standards and infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Cleans and services assigned areas according to established procedures.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout Medical Center departments and maintains a neat, sanitary environment.
• Operates floor machines and buffers.
• Participates in unit/department meetings
• Maintains assigned areas in a clean, safe condition at all times.

Essential Functions
