Job summary

Riverview Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center is accepting applications for a Housekeeping/Laundry role. The position offers day shifts, including every other weekend, with no evenings. Prior long term care setting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include cleaning beds and furniture, laundering linens, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents. Applicants should work well independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Washes beds, bedframes, remote controls, head and footboards, and mattresses.
• Dusts and cleans furniture, non-medical equipment, TVs, over bed tables, and mops floors.
• Cleans under and behind furniture.
• Clean windows, sills, doors, and door handles.
• Empties and cleans waste baskets; transports trash to disposal areas.
• Keeps janitor closets and housekeeping carts organized.
• Rotates in laundry as needed.
• Adheres to infection control precautions and PPE use.
• Reports safety concerns to supervisor and completes required education.
